In My Mailbox (#12)

In My Mailbox
is hosted by Kristi from The Story Siren

This week was so tiring I couldn't wait for the weekend, but this weekend (sadly) is not about relaxing as we will have non-stop family gatherings.  I have received so many great books I have wanted for some time that now the problem is deciding by which to start! I'm like an excited child, grabbing one book, trying not to drool on it then grabbing the other, turning it this way and that way, scrutinizing the cover, reading the cover over and over again. Can't wait to read these!

Books I have received for review:

Dark Oracle by Alayna Williams and
Touched by an Alien by Gini Koch

I LOVED Embers by Laura Bickle (the other alias of Alayna Williams) so whne I heard that I wouldn't have to wait until September (when the #2 book of the Embers universe will be released) to read a novel of hers, I couldn't wait to get my hands on Dark Oracle and devour it! Laura/Alayna is not only an amazing writer but such a friendly and kind person!

I think I have never read a scifi! I know, shocking! But I've heard so many fantastic things said about this novel and so many have praised it (even those who are not scifi fans) that I wanted to discover the fun and unique universe and storyline Gini Koch has created. And I'm so enthusiastic about this one, that I can't wait to start reading it! This will be my next one after I've fiunished my current book!

Books I have won:

Into the Dark by Gena Showalter from Jen at That's What I'm Talking About
The Host by Stephenia Meyer from Casey at The Bookish Type
The Demon in Me by Michelle Rowen from Rachael at Enchanted by Books

I'm glad I won Into the Dark because I haven't read any Gena Showalter novels yet and after reading how many bloggers are a fan of her Dark Lords series I'm glad I'll finally have my introduction to her writing.

I have been *stalking* Michelle Rowen during her virtual launch tour of her new release and am so happy I won The Demon in Me as it sounds really exciting! And Michelle not only signed the book for me but also drew in it a cute little devil! lol :-D

Then yesterday evening I got an e-mail that I've won in Moira Rogers' contest so I will finally be introduced to their novels too! Can't wait as I also heard so much praise about their writing.

Thank you Jen, Casey, Rachel, Natasha and Bree&Donna! :-)

So that's what was in my mailbox this week, and what was in yours?
