24 Hour Read-a-Thon Finish Line

Well the Read-a-Thon has already ended some time ago but I was too tired to make a summary post, so here it is, though a bit late.

Finally I took with myself on the trip:

Magic Burns by Ilona Andrews
Nightwalker by Jocelynn Drake
Heavenly by Jennifer Laurens
Personal Demons by Lisa Desrochers
Enemy Lover by Karin Harlow
Halfway to the Grave by Jeaniene Frost
and my eReader full of ebooks

And here is what I managed to read:

Magic Burns (Kate Daniels, Book 2)

A Safe Harbor: Building Sanctuary, Book 1

Amethyst Bound

Curran: Volume I (Curran POV)

Personal Demons
(only 60 pages so far)

Nightwalker (Dark Days, Book 1)
Nightwalker by Jocelynn Drake
(only 30 pages)

and 2 magazines

Since I was on a family getaway I couldn't pull a read-a-thon in the strict sense of the word, I could only read for periods by the pool, between meals.

1. Which hour was most daunting for you? Since I couldn't read for long periods, I would say it was stressing me when I was at a very exciting passage and knew it would shortly be time to get ready to go to eat lunch/dinner.

2. Could you list a few high-interest books that you think could keep a Reader engaged for next year? Agatha Christie books! I was really sorry I didn't take any with me :-(

3. Do you have any suggestions for how to improve the Read-a-thon next year? Since I wasn't able to take part in the interactive events, I can't really say...

4. What do you think worked really well in this year’s Read-a-thon? Since I wasn't able to take part in the interactive events, I can't really say...

5. How many books did you read? 4 full books + 60 pages + 30 pages in other two books (+ 2 magazines)

6. What were the names of the books you read? See above.

7. Which book did you enjoy most? Magic Burns by Ilona Andrews and Amethyst Bound by L. Shannon

8. Which did you enjoy least? Personal Demons by Lisa Desrochers

9. If you were a Cheerleader, do you have any advice for next year’s Cheerleaders? Wasn't a cheerleader, but I bet they were fantastic, I found some great encouraging posts on my blog! :-)

10. How likely are you to participate in the Read-a-thon again? What role would you be likely to take next time? I will definitely participate, can't wait!! Will have to think about that..

Thank you for the very kind and funny encouraging comments you left me, it was great seeing them! :-D Hope you too had a funa nd very productive Read-a-Thon! :-)
