It's Monday, What Are You Reading? (#12)

It's Monday, What are you reading this week? is a weekly event hosted by Sheila at One Person's Journey Through a World of Books to list the books completed last week, the books currently being read and the books to be finished this week.

And again due to work, I try to catch up with myself, though several days late.. Anyway, here are the books I read last week:

Books I completed this week

Desire Unchained (Demonica, Book 2)

The Faithful by Jonathan Weyer: Wow! I loved this book! Not only was it a thrilling read (kept me turning the pages at 2am!), but it is a very intelligent book, loved all the discussions about faith, logic and spirituality, and believe me, it was anything but boring! Jonathan Weyer managed to pull the topic of a pastor who is having a crisis of faith off while making it exciting and interesting! A definite must read for any Dan Brown fans, or anyone else who would like to read an intelligent spooky, mystery novel! A brilliant debut novel!

Harvest Moon

Harvest Moon by Krista D. Bell: This one was a very nice surprise. A very unique story in its subject and setting, with wonderful writing. I would definitely recommend this one!
Books I am currently reading

Nightwalker (Dark Days, Book 1)

Nightwalker by Jocelynn Drake: In October the Book Bloggers Anonymous is readinga nd discussing Nightwalked by Joicelynn Drake, and it was time for me to start this series. I'm still at the beginning (p. 98), but I can already tell Jocelynn Drake's universe and story building is extraordinary. And her writing is so poetic!

A Safe Harbor: Building Sanctuary, Book 1

A Safe Harbor by Moira Rogers: This is my introduction to Moira Rogers' writing. The cover is gorgeous, and I can't wait to discover the universe Bree and Donna have created

Books I can't wait to start soon

And again I'm indecisive. I will go out of town for 3 days (for a spa getaway), so before leaving I will roam my TBR shelves and choose whatever catches my fancy right then :-)

And what are you reading this week?
