October Flashback

Oh my it's almost time to write the wrap up post  for November and I still haven't had the time to get around and do October's! :-( Sorry everyone, I'm switching jobs and since I will be leaving my old one before the holidays I have tons of things to take care of and finish before Christmas, so right now real life is super busy...

But let's see what happened at Ex Libris in October (by the way if I haven't told you this before, October is one of  my favourite months: I love autumn, and October is usually the best month: it is still sunny, the leaves are all beautiful and colourful, it is not too rainy and cold so we can still walk outside in only a blazer or pullover, and the yellowing chestnut trees are my favourite! :-)

Books read:
  1. Harvest Moon by Krista D. Ball
  2. The Faithful by Jonathan Weyer
  3. A Safe Harbor by Moira Rogers
  4. Nightwalker by Jocelynn Drake
  5. Amethyst Bound by L. Shannon
  6. Magic Burns by Ilona Andrews
  7. Curran: Volume I by Ilona Andrews (re-read)
  8. Space Junque L.K. Rigel
  9. Shadow Kiss by Richelle Mead
  10. Coin Operated by Ginny Glass
  11. Out of Time by Monique Martin
  12. Lover Beware by Eileen Wilks (World of the Lupi #0.5 prequel)
  13. Tempting Danger by Eileen Wilks (World of the Lupi #1)
  14. Just My Type by Erin Nicholas (Book #3 in the Bradfords series)
  15. Rivals for Love by Eve Vaughn

Books reviewed:
  1. Eleri Stone
  2. Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead
  3. Frostbite by Richelle Mead
  4. Shadow Kiss by Richelle Mead
  5. Master of None by Sonya Bateman

Book I liked the best this month:  I can't choose as I read too many great books in October: of all the 15 books read, I could nominate at least 9 for favourite book read in October!

Book I liked the least this month: October was a good month, I liked all the books I've read, but if I'm pressed then maybe the ugly duckling is A Safe Harbor by Moira Rogers, but it still gets a solid 3 stars.

Vampire Academy Reading Challenge: 3 read 2/5 to go

"Spotlight On":

October was Spotlight on Urban Fantasy month at Ex Libris! I had the pleasure to welcome such amazing authors as Jess Haines, Jennifer Estep and Sonya Bateman!

October was a busy month in read-a-thons:

First there was the 24 Hour Read-a-Thon, as we went ona  family wellness weekend then my reading time was limited by all the family meals and pool time, but I still think I did quite well :-)

Then I also participated in the Halloween Read-a-Thon, which was a lot of fun! Unfortunately that was a pretty busy weekend for me where we had to do some packing and move boxes, would have loved to read more, but I will next time! ;-)

I appeared at Melanie's Book Addiction with 10 fun facts about myself.

And last but not least I also participated in the Spooktacular Giveaway Hop, with a special twist of UF novels as prizes.

So this is what happened at Ex Libris in a nutshell :-)

Don't forget that you can still enter my Gratitude Giveaway, it is open worldwide and ends on Sunday 28 November!
