It's Monday, What Are You Reading? (#33)

It's Monday, What are you reading this week? is a weekly event hosted by Sheila at One Person's Journey Through a World of Books to list the books completed last week, the books currently being read and the books to be finished this week.

Just as I expected I wasn't able to do much reading this week, it was partly due to my little sister's visit (yay!), with whom I tried to cherish our time together, but it was also due to the week from hell at work, which I could have lived without (got home every night after 9 pm, urgh). So not much has changed from last week in my reading list:

Books I completed this week

Cinderella: Ninja Warrior (Twisted Tales)
Cinderella: Ninja Warrior by Maureen McGowan

I needed some light and fun reading during the weekend and I picked up Cinderella: Ninja Warrior, which is Book #1 in Maureen McGowan's Twisted Tales series, which are classical fairy tales retold a bit differently ;-) This was a delightful very entertaining read, will post the review later in the week.

Books I am currently reading

The Jane Austen Handbook
The Jane Austen Handbook by Margaret C. Sullivan

Still reading this book one page at a time. I don't know which book will be able to replace it on my nightstand once I finish it :-( It is delightful and such a cute, little book!

Alien in the Family
Alien in the Family by Gini Koch

I'm at the finish line (only about 40 pages to go)! If today I haven't had to work I would have been be able to read the wedding scene! I'm past the bachelorette party (which was so much fun!) and so glad to have Normal Kitty back instead of Bitch Kitty. Love all the new characters, and the cacophony and constant chaos of the wedding party, and as everyone says: I also want a poof please!! Can't wait for work to be over, so I can finally get back to the story and be present at the weeding! :-)

Books I can't wait to start soon

Spider's Bite (Elemental Assassin, Book 1)
Spider's Bite by Jennifer Estep

The Book Bloggers Anonymous will read and discuss Spider's Bite, Book#1 in the Elemental Assassins series by Jennifer Estep in April, come and join us!

Last Sacrifice (Vampire Academy, Book 6)
Last Sacrifice by Richelle Mead

Book #6 and final instalment of the Vampire Academy series. I LOVED the previous books and this weekend somehow I just remembered how passionately I enjoyed them and couldn't believe I haven't read the last book yet. So now I'm all excited and can't wait to revisit Rose and Dimitri!! :-D

And what are you reading this week?
