It's Monday, What Are you Reading? (#35)

It's Monday, What are you reading this week? is a weekly event hosted by Sheila at One Person's Journey Through a World of Books to list the books completed last week, the books currently being read and the books to be finished this week.

Work is still crazy and I really want to get a break soon, but somehow I managed to read quite a lot this week (which I did mostly during the weekend: I was on a roll, Saturday night I stayed up until 3:20 am reading, I just couldn't stop!):

Books I completed this week

Something Secret This Way Comes
Something Secret This Way Comes by Sierra Dean

Wow! I discovered a new favourite series and author, simply wow! Sierra Dean's writing is excellent and this debut novel of hers was spellbinding! Sierra Dean managed to establish herself as an amazing UF author, who shot to my Top Favourite UF Series/Authors next to Kelley Armstrong. I can't wait to read more of Secret's adventures!

Stranded With Her Ex (Harlequin Romantic Suspense)

Will post the review soon. It was a story with some excitement, lot of heartache and great characters. And love the cover too, represents the hero/heroine so well (and also love the mysterious atmosphere and lights over the island and the sea)!

Forever Bound (1 Night Stand Series)

Nice quick bedtime story, it's a pity it wasn't longer, the setting and premise were promising, and I could very well picture the characters exploring each other in a little more depth. Pity it was only a novella, nice writing, steamy, but could have been a bit hotter. Will definitely check Stacey Kennedy's other works because her writing is great!

Hired by Lily Harlem

I will be reviewing this over at The Forbidden Bookshelf. Enjoyed it a lot!

Sleeping Beauty: Vampire Slayer (Twisted Tales)
Sleeping Beauty: Vampire Slayer by Maureen McGowan

Second novel in the Twisted Tale series. Still fun but I much preferred the first book: Cinderella: Ninja Warrior, however this modern and action packed spin on this classic fairytale is still worth checking out.

Books I am currently reading

Siren Song
Siren Song by Stephanie Draven

A very quick and short read, I very much enjoy all the Greek mythology allusions.

Books I can't wait to start soon

Carnal Secrets
Carnal Secrets by Nadia Lee

This one sounds interesting I love these kind of settings :-)

And what are you reading this week?
