It's Monday, What Are you Reading? (#42)

It's Monday, What are you reading? is a weekly event hosted by Sheila at One Person's Journey Through a World of Books to list the books completed last week, the books currently being read and the books to be finished this week.

Last week was full of magic, talking cats, rosy stardust. You want to know why? Well because I was almost nonstop in fairy land! :-D

Here is what I have read last week:

Books I completed this week

Wow, this one was fantastic. It had all the magical feeling of a classic fairy with the independence and realism of a modern heroine. Loved Cat's Tale for Bettie Sharpe fresh and realistic retelling of an old tale :-) I will post my review next week, be sure to come back, there will be plenty of surprises that week, won't reveal more now, but keep yopur eyes open for an announcement soon ;-p

Between by Cyndi Tefft

This was a fast read, and can't think of it differentky than the YA version of Outlander. My review will be posted this week, where I'll tell you more about the story and what I thought of it.

Quarter Square
Quarter Square by David Bridger

Quarter Square was a very different UF novel from the ones I usually read. David Bridger's writing was enchanting, you can read my review later this week.

The Sevenfold Spell
The Sevenfold Spell by Tia Nevitt

And another fairy tale I read this weekend. As you can see I'm on a roll, and this will keep on going for the next couple of weeks. Want to know why? Will tell you more later.

The Sevenfold Spell was wonderful. I just love these completely original spins authors take on old and well known fairy tales! :-D

The Pet Shop
The Pet Shop by K.D. Grace

Wow. Can't remember the last time I read such a combustive erotica novel. Every single scene is scorching hot and love that it is finally a full-length novel and not a short story, yum! :-D One of the hottest books I ahve ever read!

Secrets, Monsters, and Magic Mirrors

Lol and another fairy tale related reading I devoured this weekend. This one was a very cute book telling 5 well known fairy tales as graphic novels, review will be posted next week also.

Books I am currently reading

Taken By The Others (H&W Investigations)
Taken by the Others by Jess Haines

Deceived by the Others by Jess Haines will be released on 5 July, so it's time for me to catch up! I really liked book #1 and so far (even though I'm at the very beginning) book #2 looks like to be just as exciting!

Books I can't wait to start soon

The Sleeping Beauty (Tale of the Five Hundred Kingdoms)
The Sleeping Beauty by Mercedes Lackey
Curious why all this sugar-rush of fairy tale readings? You'll soon discover, don't lose sight of the blog, everything will be revealed shortly...
Until then, what are you reading this week?
