It's Monday, What Are you Reading? (#47)

It's Monday, What are you reading? is a weekly event hosted by Sheila at One Person's Journey Through a World of Books to list the books completed last week, the books currently being read and the books to be finished this week.

Hey Everyone! Thank you all for your kind birthday wishes, I had an amazing time in Vienna! The weather was sunny and warm, we ate so many delicious food I feel like a very happy but overstuffed balloon and it will be one of those birthdays I'll always remember :-)

Now let me tell you about the books I read last week.

Books I completed

Last week was kind of slow. I only managed to finish these books:

Dragon Bound (A Novel of the Elder Races)
Dragon Bound by Thea Harrison

I finally got around to read this book after all the praise and rave I kept seeing I was quite curious and excited. Unfortunately I didn't fall for it as everyone else seems to, but I can't wait to discuss it in more detail as it is the Book Bloggers Anonymous' August group discussion book. Come join us if you have read the book and share your thoughts.

Red
Red by Kait Nolan

This was the second book I read by Kait Nolan and loved it just as much as Forsaken by Shadow. The writing is exquisite and the story puts an interesting spin on the tale of Red Riding Hood ;-) I'll post my review soon.

Chasing Tabby (Katt Tales)

A very short shifter romance. My review will be posted tomorrow at Book Lovers Inc.

Book I am currently reading

Sweet as Sin
Sweet as Sin by Inez Kelley

Ever since I have read two novellas by Inez Kelley I've been a fan of her writing style, so I was very excited and enthusiastic to read Sweet as Sin which thankfully is a full-length novel! So far it is wonderful, Inez Kelley doesn't disappoint: the narrative is evocative and intense, and I can't wait to get to know the characters on a deeper level.

Books I can't wait to start soon

Prey (Shifters)
Prey by Rachel Vincent (Book #4 in the Shifters series)

Nothing changed: I'm still feverish to continue reading the Shifters series but forced myself to take a break and read some other books, I already fear the wothdrawal symptoms when Iwould have read the whole series...

Wild & Steamy

This sounds like a fantastic anthology with stories penned by Meljean Brook, Jill Myles and Carolyn Crane, I'm so excited to read it!

And what are you reading this week?
