It's Monday, What Are you Reading? (#52)

It's Monday, What are you reading? is a weekly event hosted by Sheila at One Person's Journey Through a World of Books to list the books completed last week, the books currently being read and the books to be finished this week.

Another week is over and I need to concentrate more on studying and less on blogging :-( I keep telling myself it's only for 2 more weeks and I can get over it easily, but this reading & blogging addiction seems to be quite strong ;-) Anyway, here is what I have read the past week:

Books I completed

The Princess in His Bed by Lila DiPasqua

Loved it! I am amazed at the original spin Lila DiPasqua takes on these classical tales and makes them something new and exciting! :-D Detailed review coming soon. If you like your historical romance steamy, this anthology is a must for you!!

Cross-checked by Lily Harlem

Fantastic second book in the Hot Ice erotic romance series of Lily Harlem which features hockey player heroes *sigh* :-D

I loved Cross Checked it was wonderfully hot and heartwarming. I love how 3D Lily Harlem makes her characters, they feel like real people and not just cardboard props in a story. A great story and series I would recommend! Detailed review coming soon.

The Breaker's Concubine by Ann Mayburn

I posted my review here, you should read it, 'cause I bet this cover got you interested in the story ;-)

Until There Was You by Kristan Higgins

Sadly this one wasn't such an amazing reading experience as my two previous Kristan Higgins novels were, but still a nice heart-warming story full of emotions and tears and smiles.

I am so glad I wasn't turned off of this novel by its generic and cheesy romance cover, because I would have missed out on a great story! Another occasion when it's proven not to judge a book by its cover...

I really loved The Man She Loves to Hate, it was a very nice surprise: a great love story with interesting characters and intense dialogues. My detailed review will be posted soon.

Really, these titles make me cringe for these poor books. Because they are actually nice, well written stories, but these forced, cheesy titles somehow cheapen them at least for me until I start reading them.

This one was a nice story, with heart-warming characters and a very chaste love story :-)

Book I am currently reading

Cruising Toward Love by Christi Barth

I loved Christi Barth's previous novel (Act Like We're in Love) and I'm really excited to start reading her new one! :-D

Books I can't wait to start

I'm in the mood for some thrilling romantic reads and these sound exciting:

And what are you reading this week?
