It's Monday, What Are you Reading? (#60)

It's Monday, What are you reading? is a weekly event hosted by Sheila at One Person's Journey Through a World of Books to list the books completed last week, the books currently being read and the books to be finished this week.

I had another hellish week, even beat my record: on Tuesday I got home at quarter to midnight! So yeah, another one of those stressful-before-Christmas work weeks :-/ I'm counting back to the days until Thursday (my last day at work before the holidays). So I wasn't able to do a lot of reading this week either *sighs*

Books I completed

Legacy is Book #3 in the Ganzfield series by Kate Kaynak, and sadly though I really liked the first and second books this one disappointed me :-( I had higher expectations. My review will be posted this week on Book Lovers Inc.

This one sounded so exciting: templar knights, time travel/reincarnation love story, but it just wasn't that thrilling. *sighs*

With having so little reading time I got to gobble up bite size erotic holiday novellas:

A nice steamy novella that I'm reading for the Book Lovers Inc's Holiday Reading Challenge.

This was a Kindle freebie, and surprisingly well written and entertaining. A nice short but steamy story.

Another Kindle freebie. This was an anthology of 2 short novellas. I really enjoyed the first one (wish it was a bit longer though), the second one is part of a series written my Liliana Hart, the MacKenzie family saga. Even without prior knowledge of the family and its members it was an enjoyable story, even if quite rushed and inprobable. Liliana Hart's writing is

Books I am currently reading

This is the holiday 2 in 1 compilation of the first two novels in Jill Shalvis' Lucky Harbor series: Simply Irresistible and The Sweetest Thing. I already devoured the 1st story (my review will be posted soon) and I'm reading the 2nd right now. I really enjoy Jill Shalvis' easy and funny, heartwarming small town romance writing  :-)

Another steamy novella I'm reading for the Book Lovers Inc's Holiday Reading Challenge, my review will be posted on The Forbidden Bookshelf. I'm struggling with this one as it has one of my most hated pet peeves: the characters feel that "they share such a unique bond and are destined for each other" after only having met and spent max 2 hours together! aaargh!

Book I can't wait to start

Still haven't gotten around to read historical romances yet, so why not combine holiday stories with historicals, and read:

And what are you reading this week?
