November Flashback

And once again I missed a month. But I had a good excuse: I had my very first bar exam (which I passed with great results! yay! :-D), and the very next day I flew off to a week long vacation to Normandy with the family, so when I got back it was almost mid-November. Work has been crazy since I went back after my study break and didn't have too much time for blogging, but here is what happened on Ex Libris in November:

Book I liked the best this month:

I've read a lot of great books in November, but 2 really jump out as fantastic reads: Karma Girl and Secret Santa.

Karma Girl is the 1st book in Jennifer Estep's Bigtime series which is about superheroes and ubervillains. This was a laugh out loud funny, colourful and very entertaining story, can't wait to read more! You an read my review here.

I LOVE Sierra Dean's Secret McQueen series and Secret Santa is at its best! It is funny, it is kickass, dark yet festive, the perfect holiday UF novella :-) (My review will be posted tomorrow.)

Book I liked the least this month:

The premise and concept sounded exciting, sadly the many historical inaccuracies dampened my enjoyment of the story. You can read my review at Book Lovers Inc. on Monday December 5.
