It's Monday, What Are you Reading? (#90)

It's Monday, What are you reading? is a weekly event hosted by Sheila at One Person's Journey Through a World of Books to list the books completed last week, the books currently being read and the books to be finished this week.

Here is what I have read this past week:

Books I completed

An Illicit Temptation is the sequel of My Fair Concubine, Jeannie Lin's Cinderella/My Fair Lady retelling in ancient China. This novella follows Dao's journey who was a secondary character in My Fair Concubine. A lovely and captivating story, my review will be posted soon. If you haven't read Jeannie Lin's Chinese historical romances yet you don't know what you're missing!

Another one of Entangled Publishing's new Indulgence releases I enjoyed a lot! Carmen Falcone brings simmering passion and explosive tension in a delightful story that will engross you (I read until past 2 am!). A must read for contemporary romance lovers, my detailed review will be posted soon.

I'm a huge fan of Diana Gabaldon's Outlander series, so I was looking forward to this romance with similar premise of the heroine travelling back in time and falling in love with a historical hero. Unfortunately I wasn't blown away, but read about my thoughts and a second opinion when I discuss it with Marlene over at Book Lovers Inc. tomorrow.

Books I'm currently reading

I loved North of Need, the 1st book in Laura Kaye's Hearts of the Anemoi series, so I was looking forward to the release of Book #2. I'm only at the beginning, but

A bit past 61%...

Books I can't wait to start

This one is still on my TBR list and after I'm done with what I'm currently reading I have a feeling I'll indulge in some lovely fairy tale retelling historical romance ;-)

Ashwyn by Nadia Lee

I LOVED all of Nadia Lee's releases so far: be it funny contemporary romance (A Happily Ever After of Her Own), sensual contemporary romance (Carnal Secrets) or fantasy romance (The Last Slayer), so when I heard her latest romance was a Cinderella retelling with an erotic twist I got excited!! Cinderella is my favourite fairy tale and everything is better with a few sensual scenes IMO ;-)

And what are you reading this week?
