It's Monday, What Are you Reading? (#99)
It's Monday, What are you reading? is a weekly event hosted by Sheila at One Person's Journey Through a World of Books to list the books completed last week, the books currently being read and the books to be finished this week.
Really, I just keep repeating myself because for the past 4 weeks there was so much work at the office that at night when I get home I am too exhausted to read/blog, so my reading list isn't getting much longer, while my TBR list keeps on gaining more and more entries. *sighs* Anyway, here are the books I have read this past week:
Books I completed
This is the first book in Maggie Robinson's new steamy historical romance. I loved her Courtesan Court books and this new series looks just as delicious :-) The hero was adorable and the heroine was so real, nagging and thorny, just the way we do feel/act at times ;-p lol My review will be posted in 2 weeks, when Maggie will stop by to tell you about this new series of hers.
Another Entangled release, which seduced me with is promising marriage of convenience trope (which is one of my favourite ones), and though a nice read I wanted more. My review will be posted soon.
Books I'm currently reading
A normal ordinary girl who lives her life with the WWKD (What Would Kate Do?) motto (Kate as in Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, wife of William, heir to Great Britain's throne) meets and falls for a present day duke. Who could resist such a dream-worthy premise? I bet even you had such fantasy once or twice ;-)
Book I can't wait to start
Cinderella has been my favourite fairy tale ever since I was a little girl , and to this day I just LOVE all those Pgymalion, My Fair Lady, ugly-duckling-transforms-into-beautiful-swan kind of stories, so I was hooked right from the start when I glimpsed the title and then when I read the blurb I got even more excited. I want to read this NOW!
Mark your calendars, The Holiday Reading Challenge hosted by moi at Book Lovers Inc. will debut next Wednesday, so after that you are ready to go and read some holiday romances. This one is on my express TBR list :-)
