In this Blogoversary celebrations I wanted to invite some of my favourite authors and share their awesomeness with you. Kind of like an all prepared "Must Read List" I'm handing to you. And today's guest absolutely must be on it: please give the warmest welcome to Robin Bielman, an author I just discovered recently, but who became a favourite of mine after her novel Yours at Midnight was one of my top reads of 2012! Also, there is a lovely giveaway waiting for you at the end! ;-)
Thank you so much for having me as a guest again, Stella! I’m so happy to be here to talk about how I get started on a new book and to celebrate your blogoversary with you! ~throws confetti~ Wishing you many, many more happy blogging years!
Yep, those famous four little words are how it all starts. In my mind, that is. What follows is usually something like… there’s this guy who comes home for the holidays to make amends for leaving the girl he’s always loved after a one-night stand. He’s suffered some great loss that made him leave without a word. I know! His twin brother died in a car crash that he blames himself for. He’s been grieving for four years and is finally ready to move past it. But he needs help. He needs the girl. The girl next door. The girl he’s loved from afar because she only had eyes for his twin brother. This girl has a secret. And when she sees him again, she’s bombarded with feelings and emotions she’s not sure how to handle. They heal each other. They fall in love. Will they live happily ever after?
Yours At Midnight. The hero popped into my mind first, followed by the heroine, and followed by family. I wanted there to be lots of family involved since the story takes place around the holidays. I especially wanted to include children, and there’s one little boy in particular that I had the best time writing.
Before I’d even finished editing Yours At Midnight, though, another story idea popped into my head. This happens to me a lot. Even though I’m working on one story, ideas for others will flood my mind and usually one sticks out more than any other and I’m thinking about new characters while I’m driving, while I’m running, while I’m watching TV, sometimes even when others are talking to me. (Sorry! But hey, I’m being totally honest here.)
And I’m super excited to share with you that this story is my next release! This time the heroine jumped out at me first. I pictured her in a small town, the maid of honor in a big family wedding. And not only is her older brother’s best friend coming home for the wedding, he’s the bride’s brother, too. And there’s history between them—history that has to do with kissing. She wants to keep her interaction with him to a minimum, but he’s got other ideas. ;-) The book is titled Kissing the Maid of Honor and will be out in May from Entangled’s Bliss line. ~jumps up and down~
I hope I never run out of One Upon A Time’s…

But Lyric has a secret–one that could drive Quinn from her life forever. Will Quinn run away from the love and acceptance he’s always wanted…or will he claim his New Year’s kiss and make her his at midnight?
