Let It Snow Books: Guest post by Robin Bielman + Giveaway

Ever since I read Yours at Midnight and discovered Robin Bielman she has been one of my favourite authors. Her stories are always heartfelt, romantic, heartwarming and funny. So it goes without saying that she just HAD to be included in this event's guests. Please give it up for Robin and get to meet Luke and Shane, tow of her swoon-worthy heroes! ;-)

Hi everyone! *waves and tosses mistletoe so, you know, you can hang it in a strategic spot and kiss that special someone* Happy Holidays! I am so happy to be here to celebrate this festive time of year with you! This is one of my favorite places to visit. Big hugs and thanks to Stella and Anna for including me!

Or rather, us! I brought along a couple of guys with me today. I hope you don’t mind. They insisted on joining me when I told them where I was headed. This is Shane Sullivan on my left and Luke Watters on my right. They’re best friends and now brothers-in-law, too, and the heroes in my Secret Wishes series books. (And can I just say; I’m quite comfortable sandwiched between them.)

So we are totally going to turn this Friday the 13th on it’s lucky head and Shane and Luke are going to answer all of my holiday questions. They told me I could ask them anything. Here goes…

Me: I’ll start with you Luke, cookies or fruitcake?

Luke: You did not just ask me that.

Me: I did.

Luke: Cookies, Robin. Cook-ies. You’re baking Sela and me a batch of your gooey bars, right?

Me: Absolutely. (I pretty much can’t say no to him.) Shane, would you rather have a nose that glows red like Rudolph’s or have pointy ears like an elf?

Luke yanks on his ear. They’re already sort of pointy.

Shane bats Luke’s hand away. Dude, lay off the ears. Or should I bring up—

Luke: Don’t even think about it.

Shane smiles and I go a little melty.

Shane: I’ll go with the elf.

Me: Luke, would you rather have Christmas tree tinsel for hair or have fingernails that light up like Christmas lights?

Shane crosses his arms and raises his eyebrows.

Luke: I’ll take the tinsel hair.

Shane: I can see it.

Me: Shane, what’s your favorite holiday song?

Shane: I’m partial to a little “Jingle Bell Rock.”

Me: Hey, can either of you sing?

Luke: Shane does. He’s not bad. Didn’t you do chorus in high school?

Shane: That was elementary school. High school was all about babes and baseball.

Luke: He did sing in the dugout on occasion.

Shane: I did, didn’t I?

Me: Luke, you’re stranded on a deserted island for Christmas. What three things would you need with you?

Luke: Sela, suntan lotion, my camera.

Me: How about you Shane?

Shane: Kagan, candles and matches, champagne.

Me: Aw, that sounds so romantic.

Shane smirks.

Luke: How about you, Robin?

Me: Oh, um, my hubby and two boys. Although, on second thought, how about my hubby, some books, and a bartender. ;) My hubby is really good with his hands so he could build us a shelter and catch us food.

Shane: I’m betting he can do a few other things, too.

I blush.

Me: Okay, moving on. Shane, what was the best present you’ve ever received?

Shane: I don’t think I can share that here in mixed company. He winks.

I roll my eyes.

Me: Luke, do you have a favorite holiday movie?

Luke: I’d say Christmas Vacation or Elf.

Me: I love those movies! Okay last question for both of you. Santa hat or reindeer antlers?

Luke/Shane: Santa hat!

Me: Okay everyone, so Luke and Shane said they’d be around to answer any questions you might have. Or you can ask me anything. Or feel free to just leave any holiday comment! One lucky commenter is going to win a $10 gift card to the online store of his or her choice! Good luck and thanks for being here with us!

Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!

P.S. The recipe for my gooey bars – which are really yummy! – is on my blog right now!

Sela Sullivan is resolved to be the best maid of honor ever, even if it means tolerating the best man. Positive he’s the same arrogant jock, Sela vows to focus on her duties and steer clear of the frustrating—and frustratingly tempting—Luke.

As a world-renowned extreme-sports photographer, Luke is used to undertaking life-risking adventures. But risking his heart for the beautiful Sela Sullivan, who clearly still hates him for his rejection all those years ago? He didn’t see that coming.
