Best Books of 2013 by Stella

I know, I know that already a week has gone by in 2014 but the holidays were so crazy and busy on my side that with all the family and social events I didn't have any time to blog during the Christmas break, so as they say better late than never, right? So here are some of my most memorable reads from 2013:

Best Historical Romances

I just can't get enough of this series! Diana Quincy's writing style and her characters are simply wonderful, I can't put down her stories and devour them with the out most pleasure :-)

Best Contemporary Romances

This year I discovered inspirational, Amish and Christian romances and although Temptation is not one (it is very sexy and passionate), it certainly opened my eyes to different horizons of romances ;-) A must read for everyone!

This is Book #3 in the Promise Harbor Weddings series and my favourite one :-) I fell for Sydney Somers' writing style and humour and I recommend you check out Busted, I loved it! :-)

This was the 2nd book I read by Victoria James and it was just as magical and fantastic as the first one. With A Risk Worth Taking Victoria James starts a new series you shouldn't miss!

Plus One was the first story I read by Brighton Walsh and I utterly fell in love with her writing! It was witty, laugh out loud funny and romantic! I discovered a new favourite author! :-)

If you follow the blog you know that Robin Bielman is an author I discovered last year and who has since become one of my favourite new authors. Her novels are my go-to when I need some comfort read happy sigh inducing romance stories, she is the best!

Best Culinary Romances

You all know how much I love cooking/baking and thus culinary romances are a big favourite of mine. The first book in Amanda Usen's new series was delicious, exciting and so sinfully sexy, I couldn't stop reading it! An absolute treat for any romance lover!

Another cuilinary romance I MUST mention was the first book I read from Robbie Terman, which is also the first in her brand new A Perfect Recipe series, and which blew me away! I couldn't put it down and fell completely under Robbie Terman's spell. I can't wait to read more from her and I urge you to pick up Some Like It Spicy, I sure loved it! :-D

And what were some of your best reads in 2013? Do share! :-)
