Where vampires take the lead
Driven by love, betrayal, worry,
Wrath, and ambitions to succeed.
I wrote my characters by trying
Seeing the world through their eyes
For quite a while identifying
Myself with them, and improvise.
Yet, I must say they are created
By my imagination whims
Driven by dreams hardly related
To real people, facts or things.
Derek is great to write about
As he is funny, gallant, smart;
Luella also makes me proud
Due to her will, and mind, and heart;
Antoine and Marry are appealing
With their twisted wicked wit;
The tea guest’s charming when revealing
The hidden meanings bit by bit…
All of them have my admiration
As writing in itself is fun,
Once they have triggered your affection
It is a challenge to pick one.
If I inspired your attention
To give Ordeal a closer look,
Then I believe it’s time to mention

It is a verse-ornated story
About love, betrayal, wrath,
Royal vampires' bliss and glory
Bringing them straight to their death.
Luella, fierce, strong vampire,
Falls for a pretty human catch
Sent on her fiancé's desire
To celebrate they are engaged.
This unexpected turnabout
Is doomed to come to a dead end:
Her human sweetheart's dead to shroud;
Her fiancé's avenged for that;
And she is punished for blood treason,
Banished into a mortal child,
Whose human body is a prison
For all her powers to bind.
Her memories obliterated,
She is to find her love at last
Who proves to be too much related
To the misfortunes from her past.
