Guest post by Stacey Kennedy + Giveaway

Today I have a special guest whose new release participants to the BLI Holiday Reading Challenge should keep in mind when selecting holiday themed stories, because I have Stacey Kennedy stopping by who will tell you all about her latest release: All she Wants for Christmas is her Dom! Please give Stacey a warm welcome and scroll down for the details of the giveaway.

Huge thanks to Ex Libris for welcoming me here today! ALL SHE WANTS FOR CHRISTMAS IS HER DOM is the first Christmas themed story I’ve ever written. And I’ll tell you there was something so romantic about it.

The story isn’t necessarily about Christmas, but more so takes place on Christmas Eve surrounded by an Alaskan winter. The setting of a cold winter’s night, a fire burning in the fireplace, and snowcapped mountains really set the mood for me.

So when Decadent Publishing asked me to be a part of the Madame Eve’s Holiday Anthology, I jumped on it. For me a story is only good if the setting is just as great. One of my favorite scenes in ALL SHE WANTS FOR CHRISTMAS IS HER DOM is when Blake goes outside to get Taryn after an intense argument. Visually, it was such a lovely scene to write because I do believe the setting was stunning. Here is the scene:

The snowy mountains of Alaska stood picturesque against the moonlight sky. The ski hill was lit up and he could hear laughter as guests enjoyed the cold winter’s night. His focus remained on finding Taryn. Each step he took into the deep snow froze his feet as the icy air made him shiver.

Blake passed a large snowdrift and Taryn appeared standing beside an evergreen tree. Her head was in her hands and she sobbed. He sighed in relief. Her first reaction might have been anger but as always, she’d break down and let him in.

Sigh, right? As much as I love writing dialogue in stories because I get to know the characters on a deeper level, sometimes creating the setting is just as much fun. It adds that extra layer that makes me want to be there, in that moment, and never leave.

If you’re looking for a BDSM story to keep you warm on those cold nights, leave a comment with your email address to be entered to win a copy of ALL SHE WANTS FOR CHRISTMAS IS HER DOM! Don’t forget to come find me on Facebook and Twitter. I love to chat!

Madame Eve’s 1NightStand service has brought together Blake and Taryn on a cold Christmas Eve at the Castillo Lodge. The two will set out on an adventure of pain and pleasure surrounded by Alaskan snow-capped mountains and nestled in a warm country lodge. But as the night develops, Taryn discovers it’s not Christmas presents that will surprise her but instead the very man who mastered her through a night of intense BDSM.

WARNING: This book contains explicit sexual situations, graphic language, and material that some readers may find objectionable: INTENSE BDSM theme and elements.

You can read a teaser HERE. (WARNING – BDSM ELEMENTS – Not for readers under the age of eighteen)

Stacey Kennedy’s novels are lighthearted fantasy with heart squeezing, thigh-clenching romance, and even give a good chuckle every now and again. But within the stories you’ll find fast paced action, life threatening moments and a big bad villain that needs to be destroyed. Her urban fantasy/paranormal and erotic romance series have hit Amazon Kindle and All Romance Ebooks Bestseller lists. If she isn’t plugging away at her next novel, tending to her two little ones, she’s got her nose deep in a good book. She lives in Ontario, Canada with her husband.

Be sure to drop her a line at, she loves to hear from her readers.
