Romance and Me Reading Challenge - Book Suggestions for July

July is Steampunk Romance month in The Romance and Me Reading Challenge!

I am still quite new to this genre (have only read 2 tiny novellas), so it is as much a personal challenge for me to discover this subgenre as it is for you. Here are some from my my TBR pile and wishlist, as well as some of steampunk books which come highly recommended:

The Parasol Protectorate series by Gail Carriger
Amazon - Book Depository - Kindle store

I have heard high praises of this series, might be the reason why I already have all the 5 books on my shelves even though I haven't yet started the first novel... (Reading order)

The Iron Seas series by Meljean Brook
Amazon - Book DepositoryKindle store

Another steampunk series I have heard a lot about... (Reading order)

The Paranormal Investigator series by Jillian Stone
Amazon - Book DepositoryKindle store

Ever since I glimpsed the cover of Jillian Stone's series I have been in cover love so The Seduction of Phaeton Black is on my MUST READ list for this months's challenge. (Reading order)

The Steam Guardian series by Mary Wine
Amazon - Book DepositoryKindle store

A Lady Can Never Be Too Curious will be another one of the steampunk books I'll be reading in July (and how cool is that title? I love it!). (Reading order)

The Clockwork Agents by Kate Cross
Amazon - Book DepositoryKindle store

Another one of those books which jumped to my wishlist due to its gorgeous cover (Reading order).

Darkest London series by Kristen Callihan
Amazon - Book DepositoryKindle store

I have heard exceptional things about this series so I am more than curious! (Reading order)

The Infernal Devices series by Cassandra Clare
Amazon - Book DepositoryKindle store

Those who love Cassandra Clare's Mortal Instruments series shouldn't miss checking out her Infernal Devices series, I heard it is great (Reading order).

I haven't heard much of this series but once again I'm sold due to the very alluring cover. (Reading order)

The Steampunk Chronicles by Kady Cross

A steampunk YA series everyone seems to love (Reading order).

Another book which I haven't heard much of but the cover remind me of a historical Charlie's Angels cover, so if the story lives up to the very promising cover than this one should be a lot of fun!

An interesting alternate universe/steampunk/fantasy story with an eye-catching cover ;-)

A highly imaginative steampunk/clockpunk erotic series. I have only read the first one but I can tell you Heather Massey's writing will transport you to another time and space!

Reading order:

Gone with the Respiration series by Lia Habel

A unique zombie steampunk series, once again with a gorgeous cover (Reading order).

I hope you found some interesting new books/authors to discover and challenge yourself to expand your reading horizons ;-)

Do you have any other great steampunk/clockpunk romance recommendations I should check out?

If you'd like to sign up for the challenge, you can do so HERE.
