It's Monday, What Are you Reading? (#92)

It's Monday, What are you reading? is a weekly event hosted by Sheila at One Person's Journey Through a World of Books to list the books completed last week, the books currently being read and the books to be finished this week.

I have already told you that on Friday I attended an Indian cooking class which I enjoyed a lot, but let me tell you what I did today :-) I was feeling very active, bursting with creative energy so I "slaved away" in the kitchen all morning (=sounds very funny since I enjoyed every minute of it lol ;-): I made creamy pumpkin soup and spicy curry dahl for lunch, but my creative cooking high didn't end there. Oh no: I baked some peanut butter-chocolate chip cupcakes (which are incredibly delicious: a bit salty and so tender, yum, I'll share the recipe with you soon), and that's still not the end of it: since my mom prefers more healthy/bio snacks I also made some ginger carrot cupcakes with raisins and walnut. Those turned out pretty great as well, so let me just tell you that we didn't end up hungry today ;-p lol

This week was quite slow reading-wise, I felt like stuck on one book and with work taking up a big chunk of my time I didn't get much reading done, here is what I have read this past week:

Books I completed

This was the second UF series narrated by a male protagonist that I have read and I've found the world Alex Hughes has built fascinating. This is a dark and gritty but so engrossing new series! My review will be posted on Wednesday and Alex will stop by with a guest post and a terrific giveaway so make sure to come back! ;-)

Wow, I loved this book! Seriously it reminded me of my favourite romantic comedy films (like While You Were Sleeping) I got the same warm and fuzzy feeling. I loved it and I'm sure it will be a book I'll re-read many times as a comfort read. It was witty, sweet and sexy, once again, just to make it clear in case I didn't get my point across the first 3-4 times *wink* : I loved this novel! :-D My review will be posted next week.

Book I'm currently reading

Well actually I haven't started reading this one yet, but I'll start it tomorrow. I LOVE culinary romances and as this one features desserts and chocolate making I have a suspicion that it will be a book which I should be reading while munching on some treats myself or else I'll be terribly hungry, craving some sweets :-) (I just hope there will be some recipes included).

Book I can't wait to start

I LOVE Jill Shalvis' Lucky Harbor novels (you can get the 1st one Simply Irresistible for ONLY $0.99 now, so hurry, get your copy HERE), and I can't wait to finally read Lucky in Love, the 4th book in the series :-D

And what are you reading this week?
