It's Monday, What Are you Reading? (#102)

It's Monday, What are you reading? is a weekly event hosted by Sheila at One Person's Journey Through a World of Books to list the books completed last week, the books currently being read and the books to be finished this week.

Seriously, every week I'm preparing these summary posts I get disappointed how very little reading time I get lately :-( I only got to read these in the past week:

Books I completed

I LOVE holiday romances and being the host of both the BLI Holiday Reading Challenge and the Romance and Me Reading Challenge it was about time I started getting in the holiday festive reading mood :-)

I've discovered Jeanette Murray this year and she became a new favourite author of mine instantly, so when I learned she had a Christmas novella coming out I was excited.  was lovely, heart-warming yet emotional, a perfect story for the holidays! :-) My detailed review will be posted soon but until then, join the challenges, you could win some great prizes and read some lovely holiday stories, a win-win ;-D

I love Shakespeare retellings and this historical romance by Christy English, which is a Regency retelling of Shakespeare's Taming of the Shrew, sounded wonderful. It was nice but I had some issues with the main characters and so I couldn't love it as much as I would have liked to.  (For a chance to win a copy and see for yourself, enter the giveaway at Book Lovers Inc.)

Book I'm currently reading

Another read for the holiday challenges. I love Ruthie Knox so I have a good feeling for this one :-) (and that yummy cover doesn't hurt the eyes either ;-p lol)

Book I can't wait to start

As you can see from today's post, from now on until the holidays are over I'll pretty much bury myself in holiday stories, so if you'd like some festive reading recommendations hang on for the ride :-)

I haven't read anything by Lisa Plumley yet, but the cover of  is the perfect holiday cover: plenty of snow, pine trees, red and green, presents and even a Santa costume! :-D (I got to interiew Lisa Plumley so if you want to get to know more about the book and its author stop by at Book Lovers Inc. on Thursday to read it.)

And what are you reading this week?
